| Geoffrey Dowd's practice focuses on corporate and small business organization and support as well as wills, trusts and real estate transactions. Geoffrey spent a number of years in the private sector where he worked in various capacities in a variety of industries including energy, marketing and technology. He served as controller for several corporate-sponsored venture capital funds where he was involved in a number of multi-million dollar private equity purchase and sale transactions. One of those funds founded in 1997, posted an internal rate of return (IRR) of 260% through 2002. Geoffrey was also a contract negotiator with Novell, Inc., a billion dollar company and leading provider of networking software, where he negotiated multi-million dollar licensing and service agreements with a number of Fortune® Global 100 banking institutions. He received his BS in Accounting from Bentley College in Waltham, Mass., and his J.D. from New England School of Law in Boston, Mass., where he was the recipient of a near-full merit scholarship. He is also an alternate member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment in Hampstead, NH and serves on the advisory board of Haverhill Assembly Order of Rainbow for Girls No. 39 in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. |
